The Butterfly™ Steep Trendelenburg Bean Bag Positioner with Gel is designed as an aid in securing patients when steep trendelenburg is required. Ideal for Da Vinci Robotic Surgery. The Butterfly™ Steep Trendelenburg Bean Bag Positioner with Gel has wings that will support and cradle the patient around the upper arm and shoulders. These wings can be molded into shoulder bumps to fully expose the surgical site access as necessary. The Butterfly™ has an integral layer of Blue Diamond® Gel for added patient comfort and protection. Reduces slipping risks. The Butterfly™ has 6 individual and replaceable securing straps than anchor to your OR tables side rails. They are not “sewn into” the bladder for added protection against tears and rips. The Butterfly™ has a replaceable valve system if damaged. The Butterfly™ Steep Trendelenburg Bean Bag Positioner with Gel is designed with full IV access to the forearm, yet the lower wing protects the patients hand and keeps the arm from dropping off the table. The Butterfly™ Steep Trendelenburg Bean Bag Positioner with Gel has a GU style cutout to not interfere with surgical site for GYN. The Butterfly™ Steep Trendelenburg Bean Bag Positioner with Gel has a wide cutout around the head for better Anesthesiologist access. The Butterfly™ Steep Trendelenburg Bean Bag Positioner with Gel is constructed of a strong polyurethane bladder which is far more durable and pliable product than PVC.
